who we are

We live and love metal. From large scale structural builds to artistically detailed small installations, we dive into every project with over 60+ years of combined expertise, enthusiasm and creativity.

Camryn Rogers

Fabricator | Detail Work

Camryn, a hot rod restorer and fabricator focusing on pre-1970s Eurotrash, brings a level of detail and focus that’s pushed the quality of production work to the next level around here. Learning the trade from scratch, and without guidance, at age 17 Camryn started restoring her 1967 VW Squareback – an amazing restore! Now that she has more resources at her disposal, her fabrication skills have improved ten fold. She is currently running installations and “detail” work here at MWF.

Jeremy Loerch

Fabricator | Founder

Jeremy is dysfunctional on most days. His mother started him in metal shop in sixth grade in order to “keep his hands busy.” College educated, he became burned out with the education system and went for his second love of metallurgy by starting Monkey Wrench Fabricatoins, LLC (originally named “Exploiting Heat”) back in 2002 as a way to find his soul after giving it away for so many years….  Jeremy went to Washington State University and has degrees in early childhood education and elementary education. He taught kindergarten, and also middle school graphic arts and sculpture combined for a total of 15 years.

Nick Detrapani

Project Manager

Nick is a skilled craftsman with over 20 years experience in the structural steel industry. 18 and fresh out of high school, Nick’s career in metal fabrication began. He started out as a Welder/Connector, erecting structural steel buildings with Seminole Machine & Welding in Florida. With his natural talent and quickly expanding skill set, he moved to Foreman after only two years. He then joined United Steel Works, Inc. in 2007, first as Field Supervisor, then Project Manager. Family brought Nick to the Pacific Northwest in 2016, where he joined Morgan Steel & Metalworks as a Field Supervisor and was quickly promoted to Project Manager. He held that position until 2024 when he joined the Team at Monkey Wrench Fabrication, where he now fills the role as Project Manager. MWF is excited to have Nick and his many years of industry experience.

The quality is solid, and the aesthetic captured exactly what I was looking for. I love that they took my idea, and played. The work was done on time and at an affordable price. I am super happy that I met the Monkey Wrench Gang. I love my Juliet Rails. Thank you for the excellent experience.

10/10. No-BS quote with excellent quality at half the competitor’s pricing for what I needed (powder coated coffee legs). Would highly recommend!
